Saul Bass
Saul Bass began his love affair with films in creating the credit titles for such feature films as MAN WITH THE GOLDEN ARM and WALK ON THE WILD SIDE. (BASS ON TITLES documents many of these.) He has directed such memorable scenes as the shower scene in PSYCHO and the major battle sequence in SPARTACUS. His short films WHY MAN CREATES and THE SEARCHING EYE have received world-wide acclaim including the Oscar© for the former.
